I’ve come to Zuru ramen—though not necessarily this location—a couple times already. While it is on the pricier side for a college student’s budget, I find the food to be rich, filling, and warm in both temperature and feeling itself. I like setting aside a portion of my pay for this place; on hard days, I come in, sit down, and treat myself. You can never go wrong with their 18 hour broth. On shift today were Dean, Zara, and Sadie. They’re a great team, and kept everything moving impressively quickly while remaining attentive and polite to their guests. I’m looking forward to coming back in the future.

I’ve always Ubered Zuru, I order atleast once a month. I’ve never gone in person, but definitely the in person experience is way better, the food is just as delicious and the atmosphere is really nice. Staff is very knowledgeable and very attentive.

In the google the restaurant closes at 10pm, we got there at 9:15 and was told we could only order to go. I asked if the time was wrong on google and the server said the kitchen didnt like to cook after 9pm. We sat and waited for our to go order, but realized that 2 of tables were still waiting for their food. I drove far to get there and if I knew it closed at 9pm I wouldn’t even bother, please change your hours on google. We ended up getting the to go order the same time both tables got their ramen…

Overall OK vibe. The sake that I ordered was 6/10: a lil bland on the taste. The fried rice i ordered was 5/10: didnt have any sauce so I settled for soy sauce which made it salty due to the sodium. Also, I was underinpressed with the shrimp because it was deep fried which kills the taste altogether. Servers act a bit timid and doesn't appear excited; making the experience a bit: blah. Visited the restaurant again on 6/2/26.. the experience was a bit better with the 2 different employees that were working. I ordered the chicken Pan Tan and it was great! I also wanted to order the Korean chicken wings but waiter advised it'll take 20 mins & will come after my noodles so I skipped out.

Tuesday evening was my first time visiting ZURU Ramen Kitchen. I ordered the steak bowl with onsen eggs. At the time I wasn’t familiar with what “onsen” meant, and later learned the egg is typically served at room temperature. What initially came out was a decent-looking steak, but it was very pink, which my girlfriend pointed out, and the egg was oozing with a cooked yolk but nearly frozen overall. My girlfriend and her son eat here often and mentioned this was the worst experience they’ve had, which made it clear this was not the usual standard. I offered my girlfriend the egg, but once we noticed the temperature issue, the staff took it back. They corrected it by cooking the steak medium well and replacing it with a properly boiled halved egg, which was appreciated. My girlfriend also ordered a ramen soup that she found tasteless and not of the usual. When we brought this up at checkout, the manager, Jenny, immediately made it right by correcting the ramen, offering it to go, allowing my girlfriend to taste it from a bowl and applying a 25 percent discount to the bill.
